Notta takes the lead in Dubai's transportation innovation!
AI optimization technology company Notta has made its first foray into the Middle Eastern smart city market by signing a contract with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), to supply a generative AI-based Intelligent Transport System (ITS) solution. This is a groundbreaking achievement, making Notta the first Korean company to commercialize an on-device generative AI solution in the Middle East.
The core of this contract, Notta's Intelligent Transport System, utilizes 'Nota Vision Agent,' its self-developed Vision-Language Model (VLM) based solution. This solution, operating on NVIDIA devices, analyzes video data in real time to accurately detect accidents or unexpected situations on the road. Notably, by reducing reliance on cloud servers, it was recognized for its fast data processing speed, excellent operational cost efficiency, and robust security, leading to its selection by the Dubai RTA.
Over the past year, Notta has steadily solidified its position in the Middle Eastern market through participation in major local conferences such as 'Expand North Star 2024' and 'ITS World Congress 2024,' a partnership with UAE transportation infrastructure company ATS, and a successful Proof of Concept (PoC) with the Dubai RTA. This October, the company plans to unveil the project's achievements at GITEX, the Middle East's largest technology exhibition, and expand its business into smart city construction projects across the Middle East.
Cha Myung-su, CEO of Notta, emphasized that this contract with the Dubai RTA not only proves Notta's global technological competitiveness but will also be a crucial stepping stone towards a successful IPO and leading global AI innovation. Indeed, Notta is pursuing a KOSDAQ listing this year, with a preliminary review application expected in mid-May. Starting with an investment from Naver D2SF in its early stages, the company secured a cumulative 53.2 billion won in investment through its Series C funding last year. Following a 136% revenue growth last year compared to the previous year, Notta continues its rapid growth, optimistically projecting 67% growth this year as well.
