Nolyuniverse, opening new horizons in the domestic online travel agency (OTA) market, has showcased its unparalleled technological prowess. It has completed direct API integration with the world's top three airline reservation and ticketing systems (GDS) – Sabre Corporation, Amadeus, and Travelport (Galileo operator) – without a local partner, becoming the only online travel agency in Korea to do so. Nolyuniverse did not stop there; it has completed an advanced airline ticket reservation environment by building next-generation systems beyond GDS, namely NDC (New Distribution Capability) and airline Direct API. NDC provides detailed airline service information such as seat selection, baggage, and in-flight services, in addition to existing GDS information, while airline Direct API signifies a direct technical connection between an airline and an online travel agency. The pinnacle of this technological innovation is the 'automatic airline ticket refund feature,' which significantly enhances customer convenience. Now, customers of Yanolja platform, Interpark Tour, and Triple can swiftly complete refund procedures with a single 'cancel reservation' button, without the hassle of a complex consultation process. Currently, over 40 major domestic and international airlines, including Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, and T'way Air, are providing this convenient automatic refund function through Nolyuniverse's NDC and Direct API integration. Shin Jeong-ho, Vice President of Nolyuniverse, emphasized, "By continuously expanding direct integration with domestic and international airlines based on our proprietary aviation technology, we are now able to provide customers with faster responses, competitive prices, and a wider range of services." In the future, Nolyuniverse plans to further expand its NDC and airline Direct API integration to broaden its service offerings, allowing customers to directly utilize various ancillary services such as seat selection, in-flight meal ordering, and extra baggage within its platform. Through this, it is expected to provide customers with richer and more personalized travel experiences, leading innovation in the domestic online travel market.
