NOL Universe, a leader in the travel market, has overcome the challenges of global settlement systems and successfully introduced a simple payment system for international flight tickets for the first time among domestic travel companies. This is a remarkable achievement born from close tripartite cooperation with Toss Payments and Sabre, the core of the global flight booking and ticketing system. Previously, international flight ticket payments primarily used an 'unauthenticated method,' which omitted security authentication procedures due to the characteristics of global settlement and ticketing systems. In contrast, simple payment, which requires additional authentication, clearly faced limitations in its introduction to the international payment sector due to these structural constraints. NOL Universe broke through this challenge with its technological prowess, significantly enhancing the overall flexibility of the flight ticket payment structure. This is highly significant as foundational technology that can enable integrated customer journeys, such as combined purchases with various travel products, in the future. NOL Universe has completed an innovative simple payment structure that allows fast and secure payment without complex authentication procedures by integrating 'Toss Pay' from Toss Payments, while maintaining existing card payment methods. This eliminates the need for multi-step card information entry, offering customers a different level of convenience, and contributes to customer-centric security enhancements by not collecting sensitive card information, thereby minimizing the risk of data leaks. Currently, this simple payment system is immediately applicable for purchasing flight tickets from over 60 airlines worldwide linked to Sabre. It has been initially introduced to NOL Interpark Tour's aviation services and is planned to be expanded to aviation services across the entire NOL platform within this year. A NOL Universe representative stated that starting with Toss Pay, they plan to further broaden customer choice by integrating various additional simple payment methods by the first half of next year.
