Naver has launched its AI-based ad automation solution ‘ADVoost Shopping’ in an open beta format, heralding an innovation in ad operations for shopping sellers. This solution, accessible to all sellers registered on Naver Shopping, is designed for AI to actively handle the entire process of shopping ad execution, from ad campaign planning to product linking, selecting optimal creative materials, and determining the most effective placement. ‘ADVoost Shopping’ is especially anticipated to become a powerful marketing tool for small and medium-sized sellers who have struggled with complex ad operations and high entry barriers. Previously, advertisers had to manually manage campaign settings, target analysis, and the creation and replacement of ad creatives; however, now AI automatically links all of a seller's products and selects optimal creatives to implement user-customized ads. This expands the scope of ad operations, which were previously limited to a few flagship products, to detailed product categories. Simultaneously, an efficient system has been established that reduces operational burden and maximizes ad effectiveness. Furthermore, this solution significantly reduces the complexity of ad operations by integrating search ads (SA) and display ads (DA) into a unified platform. AI analyzes Naver's main service placements in real-time, including Naver Main, Integrated Search, Shopping Search, Blogs, Cafes, and News, to automatically find the most suitable exposure locations for brands and products. This helps advertisers secure a wider and more efficient reach. In the closed beta test (CBT) conducted prior to the launch, 40 advertisers from various industries such as home appliances, fashion, cosmetics, and food & beverage participated. The test results showed significant improvements in Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) and Conversion Rate (CVR) compared to existing methods. Based on these positive results and high advertiser satisfaction, Naver decided to transition to the open beta. Starting with ‘ADVoost Shopping’, Naver plans to sequentially advance a variety of AI-based advertising solutions, including ‘ADVoost Search’ (based on search relevance), ‘ADVoost Creative’ (supporting automatic ad creative generation), and ‘ADVoost Audience’ (providing user behavior-based targeting auto-expansion). This demonstrates Naver's strong commitment to leading the future of the digital advertising market through AI technology.
