MyRealTrip Ramps Up Global LCC Flight Bookings

Korea's leading travel super app, Myrealtrip, is significantly expanding its routes with overseas low-cost carriers (LCCs), accelerating its penetration into the global travel market. Now, travelers can choose from a wider range of flights, not only departing from Korea but also from various overseas locations such as Asia, Europe, and North America. Routes from a total of 32 global airlines, including AirAsia, Ryanair, EasyJet, and Frontier Airlines, have been added, allowing travelers to find even more diverse options on the Myrealtrip app and website. Behind this expansion is Myrealtrip's continuous effort to improve its services. The international flight auto-change feature introduced last year has made it possible to modify tickets without hassle, and the introduction of the NDC (New Distribution Capability) system has enabled direct transactions with airlines, allowing for more competitive pricing. These innovative changes are leading to tangible results. As of Q1 2025, Myrealtrip recorded the highest utilization rate among travel platforms for overseas travelers, and its flight ticket sales performance also surged by an impressive 53% compared to the same period last year. This solidifies its unparalleled position within the online travel agency (OTA) market. A Myrealtrip official stated that beyond simple flight ticket sales, their ambition is to "continuously discover high-value-for-money products and content that provide practical help throughout the entire travel process to support seamless travel." Myrealtrip, which allows users to manage all travel elements in one place, including flights, hotels, rental cars, packages, tours, and activities, has been continuously evolving as a travel super app since becoming the first Korean startup to introduce worldwide flight booking and sales services in 2019.
