An innovative movement to enhance accessibility to art is beginning. Misullo, an art distribution platform, is fully launching an art rental and leasing service for corporate clients, ushering in a new era of art experience. This service targets B2B customers such as businesses, hotels, hospitals, and cafes, aiming to naturally integrate art into everyday life and business spaces.
Misullo plans to continuously expand its collection based on approximately 3,500 consigned artworks, as well as through its own acquisitions and new purchases. Beyond simple rental, Misullo offers a package of services including customized curation optimized for the client's space, periodic artwork rotation, audio docents to aid in understanding the works, and reliable insurance and installation services. The leasing service, in particular, grants the option to own the artwork after a certain payment period, satisfying the demand of companies looking to acquire artworks not just as decoration but as valuable investment assets.
Misullo's expertise and vision have already been recognized. This year, it was selected as an official partner for the '2025 Art Gyeonggi' art rental exhibition project hosted by the Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation, and has successfully showcased works by various artists in the spaces of numerous public institutions such as Gyeonggi Provincial Government, Gyeonggi Provincial Council, and Gyeonggi Tourism Organization, as well as leading private companies like Hugo Dynamics and Hanmo Technology, thereby contributing to the spread of art's public value.
Cho Seok-jin, CEO of Misullo, emphasized, "Artworks are not assets enjoyed only by a few collectors, but shared assets that should be experienced in the spaces of both businesses and citizens," explaining that this service will be a popularization model that shifts art from the realm of 'ownership' to 'sharing'. He expressed his ambition to bring tens of millions of dormant artworks by domestic and international artists – works unsold after exhibitions or those losing value while stored in warehouses as private or institutional collections – back into the market, thereby providing artists with new creative motivation and income, and citizens with rich art experiences.
Differentiated customized solutions for corporate clients are also noteworthy. Misullo not only offers delicate curation reflecting corporate identity but also broadly proposes art utilization plans linked to audio docents to assist art appreciation, art marketing for brand image enhancement, and even in-house welfare and ESG management activities, thereby helping to strengthen corporate cultural competitiveness.
In the long term, Misullo aims to evolve into a hybrid platform that organically connects its online art market 'Nae Geurim', offline exhibition and cultural space 'M-Art Center', and specialized storage-type exhibition hall 'Misullo Storage'. The vision is to establish a future-oriented art ecosystem where online services include art information search, transactions, and rental bookings, while offline services offer integrated actual artwork appreciation, experience, and storage.
Misullo will play a pioneering role in spreading the value of art throughout society and injecting new vitality into corporate culture, thereby creating a richer society where art and daily life coexist.
