## Korean F&B Tech Successfully Lands in New York: MonthlyKitchen's Integrated Solution Pioneers US Market
Global restaurant tech company MonthlyKitchen successfully supplied its self-developed integrated POS and table order solution to 'Golden Pig', a medium-to-large restaurant in New York, USA, announcing the local commercialization of Korean F&B tech in America. This achievement is significant because it goes beyond mere product supply; it signifies that MonthlyKitchen's system has completed operational verification, being perfectly integrated with major US payment and delivery infrastructures. This is evaluated as an important stepping stone for domestically produced F&B solutions to expand into the US market in the future.
A total of 33 integrated systems, including 3 MonkiPOS units and 30 Orderpay table order devices, were installed at 'Golden Pig', a restaurant with annual sales of approximately 5 billion KRW. This system organically connects all processes, from customer orders to KDS (Kitchen Display System for real-time kitchen integration), on-site payments, and dashboard sales management, into a single integrated framework. Following its implementation, 'Golden Pig' experienced noticeable improvements in operational efficiency, such as increased table turnover, reduced customer waiting times, and enhanced order accuracy.
Notably, MonkiPOS supports the three major US payment networks (Fiserv, Elavon, Tsys) and local standard terminals, and is equipped with synchronization features for four major delivery platforms, including DoorDash, UberEats, and Grubhub, as well as self-delivery orders, thus comprehensively covering the core operating environment of the US F&B market. The wireless Orderpay table order devices can be installed immediately without separate construction and enhance convenience with a battery life of 3 to 5 days. Currently, MonthlyKitchen is simultaneously working on optimizing its order big data-based AI CRM (return visit inducement marketing) technology, proven effective in Korea, for the US market, evolving this solution beyond a simple ordering tool into a 'revenue-contributing platform'.
According to Technomic, a US F&B market research firm, technology investment by US restaurants in 2024 increased compared to the previous year, with a particularly surging demand for order and payment automation systems. Regarding this, a US F&B industry expert assessed that MonthlyKitchen's integrated system is an early example that transcends the limitations of existing separate operational models, possessing significant potential to expand into an innovative operational model applicable to the US F&B franchise market as operational performance accumulates.
MonthlyKitchen plans to accelerate its expansion into the US F&B franchise market based on the operational data accumulated at the 'Golden Pig' restaurant. CEO Kim Hyuk-kyun stated, "This achievement holds great significance as it goes beyond mere supply, completing integrated verification with local infrastructure," adding, "Based on this verification, we will optimize our AI CRM technology, proven in Korea, for the US market and make it a core driver for franchise market expansion." Through this entry into New York, MonthlyKitchen is expected to prove the global competitiveness of Korean F&B tech solutions and open new horizons in the US F&B market.
