In just six months since its launch, MediWave's national health check-up automation service has been adopted by 70 hospitals and clinics nationwide, leading innovation in the medical system. This service digitizes and automates the entire process of national health check-ups, which are conducted in approximately 7,000 locations nationwide. It handles all health check-up related tasks in a one-stop manner, from patient questionnaire completion and results sheet generation to hospital PC linkage, automatic judgment based on National Health Insurance Service (NHIS) standards, and even result notification proxy. Notably, by replacing health check-up related documents, which must be stored for five years under medical law, with electronic signatures, it has completely eliminated the need for cumbersome paper document storage. Even in the modern medical environment where most hospital tasks are digitized through EMR (Electronic Medical Records), national health check-ups still involve manual questionnaire and results sheet preparation in the majority of hospitals. This has exacerbated the dual inconvenience of having to individually claim reimbursement from the NHIS, alongside the difficulties in space and management stemming from records that must be mandatorily stored for five years. To address these chronic inconveniences in the medical field, MediWave, under the leadership of its doctor-CEO, closely collaborated with a specialized hospital that performs over 50,000 check-ups annually. Fifty affiliated medical professionals participated in the entire process from planning to development, creating a solution that perfectly reflects the actual needs of medical staff. The secret to successfully supplying the service to approximately 70 hospitals in a short period since its official launch last October lies in its accurate identification of the common inconveniences faced by medical staff—who were exhausted by low compatibility with existing EMR environments and repetitive manual work—and its provision of practical solutions. MediWave is maximizing operational efficiency in the medical field and setting a new standard.
