Hopeful news for job seekers! Matchwork, a company specializing in employment and careers, and Careerday, an HR tech company, have joined forces to introduce an innovative service that allows job seekers to receive practical career mentoring from incumbents at large corporations, global companies, and IT startups they have long dreamed of.
Both companies will link Careerday's boasted pool of over 25,000 incumbents to Matchwork's systematic blended career and employment program, 'Healthy Job Prep'. This incumbent pool includes not only employees from top-tier domestic companies such as Samsung, SK, Hyundai Motor, LG, Naver, and Kakao, but also those from global AI companies like Nvidia, Amazon, and Tesla, offering a wide range of mentoring opportunities.
Now, students participating in 'Healthy Job Prep' will be able to prepare for their desired industry, company, and job with optimized, customized support, alongside vivid, practical advice from incumbents. This is the result of the synergy between Matchwork's accumulated know-how, gained by supporting over 1,100 students annually in successful employment at more than 20 universities including Seoul National University and Korea University, and Careerday's extensive network of incumbents.
In particular, 'Healthy Job Prep' supports the entire process through an 8-week systematic curriculum, from the 'Career Basic' course where job seekers define their values and design their career roadmap, to the 'Career Master' course where they complete cover letters and portfolios based on their 'Experience Dictionary' and 'Strength Dictionary,' and master interview preparation. Success stories of producing successful applicants for leading large corporations such as Samsung Electronics, Samsung Biologics, LG Electronics, Hyundai Motor, and Naver prove the effectiveness of this program.
Matchwork CEO Kwon Soo-yeon expressed anticipation for the possibility of extending beyond incumbent mentoring to intern recruitment, and revealed plans to develop a full-package educational program for fostering AI talent in the future. Careerday CEO Kang Kyung-min also emphasized that through this agreement, they would help more university students and job seekers undertake 'career preparation necessary for reality.'
This collaboration between the two companies will go beyond mere employment support, serving as a solid stepping stone to nurture talent equipped with the competencies required by future society and enable job seekers to embark on healthier and more successful careers.
