MakinaRocks 'ATTENTION 2025': 100x Productivity with Agent AI
Industrial AI, Beyond the Limits of General-Purpose AI, Heralds an Era of Hyper-Productivity…MakinaRocks’ ‘ATTENTION 2025’ a Great Success MakinaRocks, an industrial specialized AI company, held a large-scale conference, 'ATTENTION 2025,' attended by over 1,200 industrial and technology leaders, emphasizing the importance of 'domain-optimized AI' that goes beyond the limitations of general-purpose AI. This conference attracted significant attention by presenting a vision for the 'hyper-productivity era' to be led by industry-specific customized AI agents. Yoon Sung-ho, CEO of MakinaRocks, pointed out in his keynote speech, “While general-purpose AIs like GPT are strong in conversation, they have clear limitations in industrial tasks requiring precision, such as sensor data interpretation or drawing analysis.” He emphasized that 'domain-specific AI technology,' reflecting on-site context and expertise, is the key to driving a 100-fold increase in productivity in areas like manufacturing, national defense, and heavy industry, and stressed that companies must prepare for an 'Agentic AI era' by acquiring the capability to create AI agents themselves. Lim Woo-hyung, Co-President of LG AI Research, also stated that AI is evolving beyond single-model competition to the collaboration of various agents, expressing the importance of building an industrial ecosystem. In the subsequent panel discussion, 'securing AI sovereignty at the industrial site and ecosystem level, beyond foundation model competition,' was discussed as a key direction for future society. At the conference, practical AI application cases across various industrial sectors were shared, including Korea Water Resources Corporation's AI-based water resource prediction, Doosan Enerbility's smart drawing review, Hyundai AutoEver's utilization of manufacturing AI agents, and the Korea Military Academy's firepower planning recommendation system, among others. Innovation cases from LG Electronics and NVIDIA also garnered significant interest from attendees. Notably, MakinaRocks unveiled 'App Studio,' a new feature of its flagship product 'Runway.' This feature connects data and models, allowing anyone to create and experiment with AI apps using an intuitive UI, thereby expected to significantly reduce the time from idea conception to on-site application. Demonstrations of various vertical AI agents, such as smart drawing agents and factory business management chatbots, also received positive reviews. Concluding the event, CEO Yoon Sung-ho said, “It was a meaningful time to confirm the future that various industrial partners and vertical AI will open up,” and expressed his ambition to “lead the era of ‘Physical AI’ with scalable technology encompassing facilities, machinery, and robots.” This conference further heightened expectations for the revolutionary changes that industrial AI will bring.
