Yeon Hyun-ju, CEO of Saenghwal Research Institute, was honored with the Prime Minister's Award in the exemplary woman entrepreneur category at the '2025 Women's Enterprise Merit Award' hosted by the Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association. This recognition is a result of Saenghwal Research Institute's profound efforts in creating women's jobs and fostering a flexible working environment. Saenghwal Research Institute, which operates the life care platform 'Cheongyeon' (formerly Cheongso Research Institute, Cheongyeon Care), has particularly focused on promoting female employment. In the past three years, it has significantly expanded the proportion of female workers among its total employees to 73.2% and was recognized for its significant contribution to creating stable jobs for middle-aged and older women by training some 170,000 cleaning managers. Furthermore, its leadership in professionalizing cleaning services through systematic training and standardized manual operations was also highly praised. Saenghwal Research Institute also operates leading welfare programs to establish a work-life balance culture for its employees. It provides all employees with 300,000 KRW worth of Cheongso Research Institute home cleaning points monthly, and creates a flexible, employee-centric work environment through benefits such as up to 30 days of long-service leave, birthday leave, a flexible commuting system, and one day of remote work per week. Furthermore, it is dedicated to the welfare of its cleaning managers. Managers who achieve a certain level of cumulative working hours receive up to 2.4 million KRW in shared growth support funds quarterly, and their healthy and safe working environment is ensured through practical support such as winter flu vaccinations, subscription to damage compensation insurance, and payment for treatment and injury hospital expenses in the event of an accident during work. CEO Yeon Hyun-ju stated, "This award is a result of our efforts in creating women's jobs and fostering a flexible working environment being recognized," adding her aspiration, "Moving forward, we will continue to create high-quality jobs with a sense of responsibility, so that more women can work in stable environments where they are respected." Meanwhile, Saenghwal Research Institute recently integrated and rebranded 'Cheongso Research Institute' and 'Cheongyeon Care' as 'Cheongyeon', and is expanding its business scope into a comprehensive life service platform that encompasses overall life care beyond home cleaning.
