Legal Assistant has broken the long-standing practices of the legal industry and ushered in a new era by officially launching 'Legal Crew,' a career platform for lawyers. Born from the full investment of DLJ Law Firm and active lawyers, Legal Crew is a unique platform that systematically supports the growth of all legal professionals throughout their career lifecycle, from law school students to experienced lawyers. Anyone with a domestic lawyer's license or currently enrolled in law school can experience Legal Crew's innovative services.
Legal Crew surpasses the limitations of existing recruitment systems. It provides a 'portfolio-style resume' that allows a quick overview of a lawyer's key case experience and external activities, helping hiring institutions evaluate practical capabilities more concretely. In addition to precise filtering by specialized fields such as corporate law, civil/criminal law, and intellectual property, it finds the optimal harmony between individuals and organizations through an 'organizational compatibility report' that analyzes lawyers' work tendencies across 8 types.
Furthermore, it operates a 'Spec-up Service' that offers opportunities for lawyers to enhance their expertise through short-term projects, legal advisory roles, or consultant positions, laying the groundwork for continuous growth. Hiring institutions can also maximize work efficiency as the system is built to collectively manage and download necessary human resources management data, such as applicant resumes and certification documents.
Legal Crew has already solidified its position both within and outside the legal community, starting with its legal practice institution search service in April, signing a business agreement with the Korean Association of Law Schools in July, and hosting a mentoring talk by active lawyers for prospective legal professionals at the '2026 Joint Law School Admissions Fair' in August. The participation of HR tech specialist DeepLeHR as a technology partner further enhances the platform's robustness and professionalism.
Jo Won-hee, CEO of Legal Crew, pointed out that "the existing bulletin board-style recruitment structure is no longer suitable for a legal market that requires change and expansion," emphasizing that "a systematic career system is urgently needed to evaluate and approach lawyers not merely as employees, but as experts combining professionalism, trust, and responsibility." Legal Crew will lead the future of the legal industry by building a strong infrastructure that allows all lawyers to prove their unique value and systematically build their careers.
