As of January-February 2025, the total transaction value of KREAM's beauty category surged by an impressive 66% compared to the same period last year. KREAM's beauty category took its first step in Q3 2022, starting with support for consumer-to-consumer (C2C) transactions of premium perfumes and some cosmetic products. Notably, in the second half of 2023, by allowing the participation of business members across all categories, a large number of businesses handling beauty products flowed in, which became a powerful catalyst for the growth of the beauty category. Expanding the platform's reach by providing extensive transaction opportunities to both businesses and individual sellers proved effective. Indeed, as of January-February 2025, the total transaction value of KREAM's beauty category surged by 66% compared to the same period last year, and among these, transactions through the 'consignment sale' service skyrocketed by an astounding 3,630% (approximately 37 times), proving it to be a core growth engine within the platform. This astounding achievement was made possible by KREAM's differentiated seller policies for the beauty category and proactive infrastructure support. KREAM uniquely supports 100% warehouse-based consignment sales for all beauty products, drastically reducing sellers' inventory burden and maximizing operational efficiency. This exclusive policy has proven overwhelmingly attractive to beauty businesses, establishing itself as KREAM's unique strength. Furthermore, beauty category sellers are offered an exceptional deal, simultaneously receiving the lowest tier commission of 3.5% and basic fee exemption, regardless of their seller grade, thereby significantly alleviating operational costs for businesses. Meanwhile, KREAM has consistently grown, primarily driven by millennials and Gen Z (20s and 30s) who are sensitive to trends and prefer rare products. It has expanded its reach across various lifestyle domains, including not only fashion but also tickets and tech, swiftly reflecting consumers' diverse tastes, which has become a crucial foundation for expanding into new services and a multitude of categories. A KREAM official stated, "Through the expansion of the beauty category, we are providing an optimized trading environment for both sellers and consumers, and we are also building differentiated competitiveness in the ticket and lifestyle categories."
