The "2025 National Member Workshop," hosted by the Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association, was successfully held for two days from the 19th to the 20th, filled with the passionate enthusiasm of women venture entrepreneurs. Under the slogan 'WomenVentures Together,' over 200 women venture and startup CEOs from across the country gathered to pledge communication and cooperation, laying the groundwork for sustainable growth.
An association official stated that the core message of this workshop was to strengthen the competitiveness of women venture companies amidst rapidly changing industrial environments and global economic uncertainties, and to move forward together towards success.
The knowledge-sharing sessions offered deep insights and inspiration. Former Minister of SMEs and Startups, Park Young-sun, delivered an insightful lecture on 'The Birth of the Universe, The Birth of Life, and The Birth of AI,' encompassing the past, present, and future of the AI era, and conveyed courage and encouragement to women venture entrepreneurs who constantly challenge themselves despite difficult environments. Following this, Park Mi-kyung, CEO of FOSYS Co., Ltd., Korea's number one electronic document company, and Kim Myung-hee, CEO of AceBiome Co., Ltd., a biotech company, vividly shared their respective entrepreneurial spirits, management know-how, and success stories of overcoming adversity as senior women venture CEOs, greatly inspiring the attendees.
Notably, industry-specific business networking, with 'cooperation' as its core keyword, was actively conducted across four fields: Digital Knowledge Industry, Bio-Health & Cosmetics, IT Convergence Innovative Manufacturing, and Global Distribution. Participating companies had a meaningful time introducing each other's technologies and products, sharing industry trends, and exploring practical cooperation measures.
The workshop concluded with a 'field of harmony,' combining a stage for participants to showcase their individuality and talents with cooperation-based team-building programs, providing entrepreneurs with opportunities for recharging and healing.
Chairperson Sung Mi-sook emphasized in her welcoming address, "Within the strong fence of the association, valuable experiences can be shared, and collaborative achievements can be created," and strongly stated, "Let us together broaden and strengthen the fence for the growth of women venture companies." This workshop served as a meaningful platform for women venture entrepreneurs to become strong pillars of support for each other and move towards a greater future.
