Korean Learning App Bubbly Launches Beta Testing at U.S. Universities
Korean language education startup Babblee has taken a significant step in the U.S. market. Last October, through a strategic partnership with TCKGSA (The Columbia Korean Graduate Student Association) of Columbia University's Teachers College, it successfully launched a beta test of its innovative Korean language learning app targeting local university students. The seeds of this collaboration were sown on September 26th at the 'Korean Education and Edutech Seminar' hosted by Columbia University. The seminar, in which Babblee participated by invitation, was filled with enthusiasm for the Korean language and culture. Attending students expressed deep empathy for the digital transformation of Korean language learning and the possibilities of interactive technology, paying close attention to Babblee's vision. Vigorous discussions at the time led to the development of the current partnership. The partnership with Columbia University is just one part of Babblee's extensive collaboration network within the U.S. It is already actively exchanging with other prominent U.S. universities, including Stony Brook University, Nashville University, and Berkeley University, solidifying its cooperative network. A Babblee official emphasized that this collaboration highlights that the Korean language learning craze sweeping U.S. campuses is more than a simple trend; it's a new wave of deep cultural exchange. Babblee expressed its ambition to build a global Korean language learning ecosystem that everyone worldwide can enjoy, based on active communication with local learners. Babblee is expected to lead the global spread of the Korean language beyond K-culture, opening new horizons for future-oriented Korean language education.
