AI-based legal, regulation, and policy data platform company CODIT showed innovative progress at 'TechLaw.Fest 2025,' Asia's largest legal tech expo held in Singapore, attracting global attention. At this event, held from September 10th to 11th, CODIT fully unveiled the beta version of its generative AI-based Q&A-type regulation and policy monitoring service, 'Chat CODIT.'
TechLaw.Fest, co-hosted by Singapore's Ministry of Law and the Singapore Academy of Law, celebrated its 10th anniversary this year, becoming the largest legal tech event in the Asia-Pacific region with approximately 2,000 attendees from over 40 countries. Under the theme 'Reimagining Legal in the Digital Age,' CODIT shared innovative case studies of regulatory response utilizing AI in its presentation session, leaving a deep impression.
The unveiled 'Chat CODIT' is a cutting-edge solution that combines CODIT's independently built vast regulation and policy data with its patent-registered LLM-based analysis technology. It can provide customized answers by pre-setting user background information and boasts extensive coverage, encompassing data from major countries worldwide, including Korea, the U.S., and Japan. In particular, it received explosive interest from international participants due to its support for Korean and English translation, with its official launch scheduled for this month.
In addition to participating in TechLaw.Fest, CODIT arranged a separate session in Singapore to deeply introduce the policy direction of Korea's new government and the trends of the regular National Assembly to global corporate stakeholders. This session aimed to resolve questions about policy changes that were difficult to grasp due to time and distance constraints, and to provide practical support for global companies to strengthen their regulatory response and compliance levels.
Jeong Jieun, CEO of CODIT, stated, "Through our participation in TechLaw.Fest, CODIT has firmly demonstrated the innovative potential and competitiveness of policy-specialized AI not only domestically but also in the global market," and expressed her ambition, saying, "In line with the government's goal of 'leaping to become one of the top three AI powers,' we will establish ourselves on the global stage as Korea's leading regulation and policy-specialized AI solution." Building on this successful exchange, CODIT plans to continuously expand such communication platforms in various international locations in the future.
