K-IPET & Genaxis Launch Agri-Food R&D Investment Attraction Capacity Building Program

The Korea Planning & Evaluation Institute of Agri-Food Technology (농기평) and Genaxis, an accelerator specializing in early-stage investment and incubation, have joined hands to launch the '2025 Agri-Food R&D Investment Attraction Capacity Building Program,' a grand journey aimed at fostering the growth of startups in the agri-food sector. To enable companies with innovative agri-food technologies to gain strong wings for investment attraction and technology commercialization, this program offers systematic technical and management consulting. At the orientation held on the 22nd, the program's vision and structure were introduced in detail, and lively Q&A sessions along with active networking among participating companies took place, raising expectations. Notably, the success story presentation by 'LEDON,' a leading smart agriculture company that successfully attracted investment after participating in the 2024 program, provided realistic inspiration and strong motivation to the participating companies. In addition, a vivid 'IR Fundamentals Lecture' delivered by Managing Director Cho Seong-woo of Wonik Investment Partners generously shared practical investment attraction know-how with the participants, establishing a platform for strengthening practical capabilities. Through this program, 농기평 will provide comprehensive support to up to 25 carefully selected promising companies, covering everything from investment strategy formulation to IR material production and presentation skill enhancement. Furthermore, companies demonstrating excellent performance in the mock demo day will not only be connected with follow-up investments but also be offered opportunities to participate in prominent investment briefings hosted by 농기평, thereby laying a solid groundwork for their growth. Genaxis, responsible for operating the program, will intensively strengthen capabilities essential for attracting investment, such as IR strategy formulation, material refinement, and pitching capability enhancement, through 1:1 consulting based on customized diagnostics for each company. 농기평 and Genaxis emphasized that they will continue their close cooperation to provide strategic and practical support without reserve, enabling agri-food technology-based companies to successfully establish themselves in domestic and international investment ecosystems and achieve the goal of sustainable growth through technology commercialization.
