Codebox's ZUZU has built a new bridge connecting global startups and Korean venture capital (VCs). This was achieved by officially launching the 'ZUZU Global Startup Hub,' an innovative platform designed to help promising overseas startups successfully establish themselves in the Korean market, and enable domestic VCs to explore a wide range of global investment opportunities. This builds upon ZUZU's strong network, which already boasts 541 registered domestic and international startup deals, over 470 active VCs, and more than 250 successful investment matches. Through the opening of this dedicated hub, overseas startups will be able to convey their IR information to Korean investors in a more systematic and effective manner, and seize real opportunities for investment attraction. Notably, Swiss startups, directly recommended by the Embassy of Switzerland in Korea and supported and managed by Innosuisse and Swissnex, will make their debut, proving their reliability and potential. Furthermore, through close cooperation with the Global Startup Center under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, ZUZU plans to continuously expand its discovery of overseas startups optimized for the Korean market. ZUZU will not stop here; it plans to further strengthen its network with global institutions and investors to continuously discover promising overseas startups and provide domestic VCs with even more diverse investment opportunities. Through this, ZUZU aims to maximize the interconnectedness between Korean and overseas startups and investors, establish itself as a true hub of the global startup and investment ecosystem, and contribute to innovation growth worldwide. Seo Kwang-yeol, CEO of Codebox, stated, "We have confirmed the strong interest of Korean VCs in investing in promising overseas companies beyond domestic borders," and expressed his ambition, "ZUZU will build a robust global investment network and fully support investors from Korea and around the world to meet seamlessly across borders and create innovation."
