Connecting the Dots, which operates the childcare platform 'Jjiggaeak-eo', has opened a new chapter in care services by unveiling an innovative AI solution, the 'Care Intelligence' engine. This AI engine, launched on the 8th, meticulously analyzes the individual characteristics of children and the detailed requirements of parents to suggest optimized, customized play activities to care teachers.
This engine, which incorporates a vast amount of care data accumulated over nine years by the Jjiggaeak-eo Child Creativity Research Institute and field experience, has built a rich collection of some 11,000 types of play content through automatic metadata generation and activity selection processes. When a care request is received, the AI comprehensively identifies the child's age, disposition, preferred activities, as well as parental requests, and immediately recommends three personalized play plans to the teacher.
These play plans comprehensively include play methods tailored to the child's disposition, expected effects for each developmental area, situational dialogue scripts, difficulty adjustment tips, and even guidance for handling conflict or anxiety, enabling teachers to provide professional and stable care without extensive prior preparation. Connecting the Dots explained that this is significant as it dramatically reduces variations in care quality that can arise from individual teachers' experience gaps, and particularly lays the groundwork for even novice teachers to confidently engage children and provide high-quality service.
Furthermore, this technology significantly enhances the IP (Intellectual Property) scalability of Connecting the Dots. By applying its proprietary character 'Jjiggae-i' to images of all 11,000 types of play content, it has established a unique model capable of rapidly producing a large volume of content while maintaining a consistent brand identity. Moving forward, there are plans to expand the application of the character IP in various ways, including parent reports and child-participatory content.
Connecting the Dots does not stop there; it will soon launch a professional platform where teachers can freely explore and utilize the entire content library beyond AI recommendations. Ultimately, based on this accumulated data, the company dreams of evolving into a 'lifecycle caretech platform' that encompasses not just childcare but also senior and pet care.
