The YouTube live program 'Startup Morning Coffee', hosted by CEO Jeon Hwa-sung, is providing in-depth insights into the startup ecosystem and fostering active communication every day at 8:40 AM on the 'Jeon Hwa-sung's CNTV' channel. Recently, a company that has particularly drawn attention on this program is 'MyIB', which has introduced an innovative 'matching gift' platform for sustainable ESG management.
MyIB is elevating corporate social responsibility activities to the next level through its B2B/ESG platform called 'Give&Match'. At its core is an advanced donation method called 'matching gift', where the company matches donations or volunteer hours made by employees or individuals at the same rate, effectively doubling the impact of their contributions. While still an unfamiliar concept in Korea, MyIB is playing a pioneering role by developing a software platform to establish this culture.
Until now, unlike in developed countries, the 'matching gift' culture has not spread widely in Korea, largely due to the absence of relevant software platforms. MyIB has delved into this very point, developing the 'Give&Match' platform to help Korean companies more easily adopt and activate matching gifts. Through this platform, employees can directly select donation amounts or items, and companies can achieve both tax benefits and strengthened ESG management by providing corresponding matches.
MyIB's business model consists of monthly subscription fees and a one-time setup fee for corporate clients, and it is moving towards an ambitious goal of attracting a cumulative 800 companies and achieving 16.1 billion won in sales by 2029. It is also noteworthy that its growth is currently being accelerated through CNT Tech's Seongnam Startup Rising support program.
CEO Jeon Hwa-sung highly praised MyIB's potential, calling it an "'employee-led matching gift solution' that accurately penetrates corporate ESG management and the ethical value consumption trends of the younger generation." By digitalizing corporate donation activities and building a software infrastructure that dramatically increases employee participation rates, MyIB is expected to quickly secure a unique position in the domestic ESG platform market, estimated to be worth 95 billion won. MyIB's future endeavors, which are expected to bring positive ripple effects to both businesses and society through an innovative donation culture, are garnering more attention.
