## Jeju Shines with Creative Inspiration: 2025 Local Creator Archiving Book Published
The Jeju Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (JCCEI) has highlighted the region's creative potential by publishing the '2025 Jeju Local Creator Archiving Book,' which compiles the stories of companies that have built unique business models based on Jeju's diverse resources. This publication goes beyond a simple record, capturing the vivid journeys of innovators shaping Jeju's future, thereby offering valuable insights and inspiration to aspiring entrepreneurs and stakeholders in the regional ecosystem.
This archiving book was conceived based on in-depth interviews with 31 teams (28 individual companies, 3 collaborative teams) selected for the '2025 Local Creator Incubation Project.' It meticulously records each brand's profound philosophy, persistent growth process, and genuine efforts to foster mutual growth with the local community. Through this, readers can gain a three-dimensional understanding of how Jeju's local creators discover regional values and expand them into new businesses.
The book categorizes the business approaches of local creators into three main areas, showcasing Jeju's diverse charms.
First, in the **'Hardware·Experience'** sector, stories of 11 teams unfold, conveying Jeju's charm through products and spaces, engaging all five senses. The beautiful bakery cafe 'WAYVIEW' with an ocean view captivates sight and taste, while 'Agricultural Corporation BSF Geumak Co., Ltd.,' which produces eco-friendly protein from organic waste resources, presents a sustainable future. Furthermore, 'Buckwheat's Hometown,' which encompasses everything from buckwheat production to direct experience, demonstrates new possibilities for local agriculture.
Second, the **'Branding·Story'** sector introduces 11 teams that have reinterpreted Jeju's identity with a modern sensibility, elevating it into brand value. 'Tansan Oreum,' sparkling water containing minerals from Jeju lava seawater, captures Jeju's natural energy, while 'Garcon Fillet,' which reinterprets traditional persimmon dyeing into modern fashion, achieves a harmony of tradition and modernity. 'Jeju Manju,' a unique dessert utilizing raw Jeju ingredients, infuses new stories into local specialties.
Third, the **'Content·Research'** sector highlights the innovative attempts of 9 teams that expand value through technology and planning. The 'Jeju Fragrance Research Institute,' which develops unique fragrances by researching Jeju's native plants, creates invisible value, while 'Itji Jeju,' a youth community platform, helps connect and foster the growth of local youth. 'INSPHERE Co., Ltd.,' which actualizes Jeju's shamanic culture as digital content, demonstrates the potential for modern inheritance of traditional culture.
In addition to these, the archiving book includes key on-site records such as the '2025 Jeju Local Festa' and the 'Sehwa-ri Insight Trip.' Readers can vividly glimpse moments of cooperation where local brands, large corporate distributors, and investors gathered to explore the expansion and mutual growth of the local startup ecosystem.
Lee Byung-sun, head of the Jeju Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, emphasized that "local creators are key players who go beyond simple small business owners to change the flow of the regional economic ecosystem." He added, "I hope the diverse stories contained in this book serve as an opportunity to prove the infinite potential of the region, and we will continue to devote our full efforts to creating a robust environment where entrepreneurs can grow autonomously."
