Jamjam Therapeutics, a leading company in the development of digital therapeutics, shone brightly at the '2025 Korea Game Awards,' held at BEXCO, Busan on the 12th, achieving the splendid feat of winning the 'Good Game Award.'
This awards ceremony, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea Association of Game Industry, served as a significant occasion to reflect on the past year of the domestic game industry and envision its future, further elevating its prestige by being linked with the global game exhibition 'G-STAR 2025.' Amidst numerous innovative works competing, Jamjam Therapeutics captured the hearts of the judges with a game embodying social value.
Jamjam Therapeutics' honorable award-winning work, 'Jamjam400: Pinkfong and Jamjam Friends,' is an innovative functional game developed with the aim of improving cognitive abilities and concentration in children with developmental disabilities. This game received high praise and acclaim for successfully embodying the important social value of rehabilitation and functional improvement for children with disabilities within its game content, going beyond simple entertainment functions.
Currently, this meaningful game is actively being utilized as actual educational content in major educational and rehabilitation institutions such as Daegu Special School in Daegu Metropolitan City and the Korea Association for the Welfare of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, proving its effectiveness.
Kim Jung-eun, CEO of Jamjam Therapeutics, expressed her deep emotion, stating, "It is deeply meaningful that a game developed with the profound heart of a parent raising children with disabilities has received such great recognition for its value." She added, "We will continue to strive for the development of innovative content that combines functionality and fun with a sense of social responsibility."
Meanwhile, the Grand Prize (Presidential Award), the highest honor of the awards ceremony that day, was awarded to Devcat's 'Mabinogi Mobile,' and the Top Excellence Award went to Neople's 'The First Berserker: Khazan,' respectively, showcasing the diverse facets of the Korean game industry.
