Global HR Platform Deel Revolutionizes Global Talent Mobility Management with Launch of International Business Visa Service
Deel, a leader in the global HR market, has launched its 'Business Visa' service to meet the surging demand for international business travel, opening a new chapter in global talent mobility management. With global business travel frequency expected to recover to pre-COVID-19 levels by 2026, and 71% of companies currently seeing an increase in travel demand, this service focuses on significantly alleviating the heavy workload of HR departments.
The newly launched 'Business Visa' service operates through a close integration between the Deel platform and Workflex, a company specializing in travel support. Through the Deel platform, the entire short-term visa application process for over 150 countries is managed in one integrated system, handling everything from eligibility verification and application submission to expert review and quote generation, all in one stop.
HR managers can easily grasp the real-time visa status of all employees within the Deel platform, while employees receive automatic notifications regarding visa status, procedures, and required documents, thereby minimizing repetitive administrative tasks and communication. This maximizes the efficiency of HR teams and helps employees prepare for international business trips more smoothly.
This service is an addition to the existing 'Deel Immigration' offering, comprehensively supporting all types of international business travel visa tasks, from long-term overseas assignments to short-term on-site visits. Furthermore, Deel recently obtained an official immigration service provider license in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), gaining the capability to independently provide residency and stay permit support for UAE assignments.
Piers Dolan, Head of Product at Deel, stated, "As the importance of business travel continues to grow, our collaboration with Workflex solidifies Deel's position as a true global HR platform encompassing all visa types." Patrick Koch, co-founder of Workflex, also emphasized, "This partnership offers incredible scalability in terms of speed, accuracy, and compliance, definitively easing the workload for HR managers."
Deel, a decacorn company with a valuation of $12 billion (approximately 16 trillion KRW), boasts over 35,000 clients worldwide and employs over 7,000 fully remote workers. As of Q1 2025, Deel has solidified its position as a leader in the global HR market, with an annualized run rate revenue of $1 billion (approximately 1.3 trillion KRW) and processing over $11 billion (approximately 15 trillion KRW) in annual payroll.
