No-code web builder Imweb has achieved a monumental milestone, surpassing 6 trillion won in cumulative transaction volume for its client companies operating their own brand malls, thereby demonstrating its unrivaled presence in the domestic e-commerce market.
Imweb has evolved beyond a simple website creation tool into an all-in-one solution that supports overall brand operations, including commerce, marketing, and customer relationship management (CRM). Recently, it surpassed 1 million cumulative sites opened, greatly expanding its user base alongside service expansion.
Notably, the speed of cumulative transaction volume growth is remarkable. Following its record of 1 trillion won in 2020 and 3 trillion won in 2023, it recently achieved 6 trillion won, more than doubling in just the past two years. Compared to the approximately four years it took to reach the first 1 trillion won, the most recent 1 trillion won was accumulated in just nine months, demonstrating explosive growth.
By industry sector, Imweb showed balanced growth, recording double-digit year-over-year growth rates in various fields such as IT and fashion, in addition to food and beverages and health functional foods. CRM marketing utilizing customer data has become active, especially in industries with frequent repeat purchases, significantly contributing to sales growth.
Looking at success stories, fashion brand H generated over half of its total sales from its own brand mall, recording a 45% repurchase rate. Beauty brand S achieved the feat of driving approximately 30% of its monthly sales through automated CRM messages sent based on customer behavior data, such as a certain period passing after membership registration or unpaid shopping cart items.
Imweb CEO Lee Soo-mo emphasized that this surpassing of 6 trillion won in cumulative transaction volume is an achievement created by the 1 million brands that have grown with Imweb. He expressed his ambition to continue supporting brand growth through ongoing service enhancements and firmly establish Imweb as a core infrastructure of the direct-to-consumer (DTC) mall ecosystem.
