This signifies a strong commitment to strengthening brand identity by integrating the company name and service name, and accelerating overseas business expansion.
Hwahae, Korea's largest beauty platform, has driven the growth of K-beauty based on information for 380,000 beauty product ingredients and 9.3 million real user reviews. Last year, it underwent a rebranding with the 'Hwahae 2.0' mission and announced its leap towards becoming a K-beauty acceleration platform.
Specifically, through its global website, launched with an English version in November last year and a Japanese version in February this year, Hwahae has focused on providing core content such as Hwahae Awards and rankings to overseas consumers, thereby enhancing the global recognition of K-beauty brands.
Hwahae Global plans to support K-beauty brands in creating continuous success stories in overseas markets by launching global influencer marketing services and expanding its B2B business in the future. Lee Woong, CEO of Hwahae Global, emphasized that this company name change will be "a crucial turning point in moving beyond the domestic market to become a global beauty platform," and that they will continue to support the growth of K-beauty brands to strengthen their global influence.
The company name change was resolved at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on the 30th of last month, and all related procedures have recently been completed.
