Birdview, which operates the beauty platform 'Hwahae,' achieved its highest-ever revenue of 82.4 billion won in 2024 since its founding, proving its innovative performance in the K-beauty market. This is a 60% surge compared to the previous year and the result of maintaining an astonishing average annual growth rate of 43.6% over the past five years. Notably, it recorded consecutive EBITDA surpluses in Q2 and Q4 last year, with Q4 showing a significant improvement in profitability, increasing by 122% compared to the same period last year.
This strong performance was uniformly evident across all business sectors: advertising, commerce, and brand. With the 'Brand Boosting Program (BBP),' which actively supports small and medium-sized brands, and various advertising solutions, it secured 2,235 brand partners, establishing itself as a key channel for beauty brand growth. 'ONLY Hwahae' products, planned based on user reviews and data, boosted commerce revenue by 36.1%, and its subsidiary beplain's skincare brand saw overseas sales skyrocket by an impressive 175%, enhancing K-beauty's global status.
Birdview is now accelerating its leap into the global market. It has successively launched English and Japanese websites, and this year, it aims for over 40% revenue growth by focusing on collaborations with overseas influencers and expanding its global B2B business. CEO Kim Kyung-il declared that, based on Hwahae's vision that "consumers' smart choices drive brand growth," they will write a new history in the global beauty market, beyond Korea.
