"Startup Morning Coffee," a YouTube program broadcast live every day at 8:40 AM on Jeon Hwa-sung's CNTV channel, hosted by CEO Jeon Hwa-sung, has established itself as a valuable information platform by deeply introducing core competencies and market potential to those interested in the startup ecosystem. This program, which fosters active information exchange through interactive communication with viewers via real-time comments, recently garnered significant attention by spotlighting 'WGS,' a startup leading innovation in the secondary battery inspection sector. WGS is bringing innovation to the secondary battery inspection field by utilizing the world's first plasma technology. Surpassing the limitations of existing machine vision inspection, this technology can check for defects at nearly 100% accuracy, offering a groundbreaking solution to significantly reduce the fire risk of pouch batteries, and is expansively applicable to various areas, including the inspection of metallic foreign objects inside jelly rolls. Currently accelerating its growth by undertaking CNT Tech's KDB NextOne support program, WGS aims to enter the global market through collaborations with domestic and international secondary battery manufacturers, and has already received firm recognition for its growth potential through multiple investment rounds and selection for government support programs. CEO Jeon Hwa-sung emphasized that WGS's plasma inspection system consists of an electron emission unit, data processing controller, and inspection drive unit, and that model inspection software suitable for mass production has already been implemented. He expressed great expectations for WGS's unique technology and growth trajectory, noting that the secondary battery exterior inspection market amounts to 250 billion won, with the pouch exterior inspection market alone reaching 80 billion won. Meanwhile, CNT Tech is organizing the "Strong Small Business Support Program Global Type" for small business owners and startups and is currently recruiting participating companies. CEO Jeon Hwa-sung added that he hopes startup founders will participate in this program to receive business funding support as well as valuable opportunities for overseas expansion.
