Hyeum, a company specializing in financial and tax AI agents, is bringing a fresh breeze to the market by officially launching 'Alfred,' an AI agent designed to solve the complex management challenges faced by corporate businesses, including small business owners and startups.
Hyeum has integrated the AI agent chatbot 'Alfred' into its existing business support service, 'Hyeum Report,' elevating user convenience by a step. Now, business owners can integrally manage accounting and tax tasks such as sales and purchase status, tax payments, and tax invoice issuance, and also view visual metrics essential for decision-making at a glance.
Alfred is an AI agent specialized in the financial and tax sectors. When a user inputs a question into the chat window, it accurately grasps the context and intent, either directly performing the requested task or immediately providing highly reliable answers based on Hyeum's accumulated professional database.
Its key features include 24-hour Q&A related to finance, tax, and labor, as well as the issuance of various business documents, linking tax payments and filings, and recommendations for refunds tailored to business conditions. All these processes, from reporting to actual task execution, can be handled in a one-stop manner with simple chat, significantly saving time and effort.
Notably, Hyeum applied RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) technology to maximize Alfred's information accuracy. Furthermore, by utilizing 22 million instances of actual expert consultation data accumulated through the KakaoTalk messenger since 2017 for AI learning, the reliability of its answers has been further enhanced.
Starting with the launch of Alfred, Hyeum plans to accelerate the development of agentic AI through the advancement of its LAM (Large Action Model), which is capable of inference and decision-making, by utilizing its self-developed RPA engine.
The beta test conducted prior to Alfred's official launch clearly demonstrated its effectiveness. Test results from October last year showed remarkable performance, with 'Hyeum Report' usage increasing by an impressive over 175% compared to the same period of the previous year.
With this launch, 'Hyeum Report' has been renamed 'Alfred Report,' demonstrating a strong will to lead the market as an integrated financial and tax solution based on an AI agent.
Oh Hyung-seok, CEO of Hyeum, stated, "Through beta testing, Alfred significantly improved the report solution's user experience and sufficiently proved its service validity. Moving forward, we will continue to advance our technology and business to ensure Alfred establishes itself as an essential AI agent for entrepreneurs, thereby leading the AI agent market in the financial and tax sectors."
Meanwhile, Hyeum has received a cumulative investment of 21 billion won from entities such as IBK Industrial Bank of Korea, Quad Ventures, and Kiwoom Investment. Last year, it was recognized for its generative AI technology and selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' 'Super Gap Startup 1000+,' among other accolades, indicating high praise for its innovativeness and growth potential.
