## Pangyo is Ablaze with the Fervor of Future Innovation Technologies! The 32nd Startup 815 IR Alliance Successfully Concludes
Innovation technologies that open the future received immense attention from investors in Pangyo. Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (Gyeonggi CCEI) successfully hosted the '32nd Startup 815 IR Alliance' on the 28th at Pangyo Startup Zone, for promising startups in the bio and platform sectors.
This event, led by Gyeonggi CCEI, saw joint participation from Kyung Hee University Technology Holdings, Dongguk University, and the Korea Invention Promotion Association, creating a broad platform for cooperation. 'Startup 815 IR' is a regular investment attraction program held every Thursday, renowned for providing practical growth opportunities through effective matching between promising startups and investors.
On this day, five outstanding companies from the bio, health functional food, and platform sectors took the IR stage. First, **Circular Bio** presented a sustainable future with an organic waste resource circulation system utilizing insect farming, while **TopoLab** opened new horizons in the bio industry with a mass production platform for high-value plant raw materials. In the health sector, **Bicedam** garnered attention with a blood circulation improvement product based on red ginseng blending technology, and **Dr. B Lab** made a deep impression with an innovative approach: a traditional Korean medicine-based natural product lung cancer treatment. In the platform sector, **Hintz** introduced a medical institution business continuity platform for disaster preparedness, earning recognition for both its social value and technological prowess.
To evaluate the presentations of these innovative companies, seven leading domestic investment firms, including STIC Ventures, Intellectual Discovery, Kolon Investment, Coolidge Corner Investment, Platinum Technology Investment, GS Retail, and LX Ventures, attended, offering keen analysis and exploring investment opportunities. The investors led a vibrant atmosphere, asking in-depth questions about the companies' technology and marketability.
Notably, Gyeonggi CCEI has been further strengthening its startup discovery network by linking with the Gyeonggi Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration's 'Deep Tech Tutoring Project' since its 31st iteration. This is expected to significantly contribute not only to expanding investment opportunities for promising tech-based startups but also to vitalizing the overall investment ecosystem.
A Gyeonggi CCEI official emphasized, "Through this joint IR, the scope of co-hosting institutions has expanded, further solidifying the foundation for cooperation across regions and industries." They expressed their ambition, "We will continue to work closely with relevant organizations to ensure tech-based startups successfully attract investment, and furthermore, strive to make the regularized IR platform a core driving force in fostering a sustainable startup ecosystem." It is a moment when the growth of the innovation ecosystem unfolding around Pangyo is even more anticipated.
