Fandom business solution company bstage has recorded explosive growth, firmly establishing itself as the industry's largest fandom platform. Achieving the unprecedented feat of securing a cumulative 796 stars, bstage attracted over 150 new clients last year alone, opening more than 220 bstage platforms, and recording a phenomenal growth rate approximately three times higher than its competitors. Driven by this momentum, transaction volume in 2024 surged by more than three times compared to the previous year. bstage is boldly expanding its fandom business domain beyond K-POP to include various content IPs and brands. Through these strategic moves, it has brought in global stars such as Taeyang, NMB48, and NE-YO early on, and recently added K-POP icon G-DRAGON and world-renowned soccer star Son Heung-min, building an overwhelming star lineup that transcends genres and borders. Its expansion into the global market is also accelerating. Currently, the 796 stars comprise 678 from Korea, 90 from Japan, and 28 from other countries including the US and India. Notably, the success in attracting Japanese artists within just one year of establishing its Japanese subsidiary is strong evidence of a successful localization strategy. In terms of service usage, it also shows remarkable growth. In 2024, 45 artists and teams launched new membership services, and the real-time interactive communication service 'POP' proved its appeal, with 90% of its total sales clients being new customers in 2024. bstage employs a differentiated strategy compared to existing fandom platforms that solely focus on K-POP. It is expanding its services into various fields, including esports powerhouse T1, musicals, general content, and sports, thereby opening new horizons for the fandom business. Co-CEOs Seo Wooseok and Lee Kiyoung stated, "As a leading fan tech company, we will continue to expand our global fandom business and strengthen collaborations with various content IPs and brands beyond K-POP," presenting the vision of "building a sustainable ecosystem where artists and fans can grow together."
