Ghostpass notably solidified its status as an innovative company for two consecutive years by winning the Best of Innovation award in the Fintech category at CES 2025. At its core is a 'decentralized on-device biometric authentication solution'. By securely storing and managing users' sensitive biometric information on their personal smartphones rather than on a central server, it fundamentally blocks the risk of large-scale data breaches. This is an innovative approach that perfectly complies with strict global personal information protection regulations like GDPR. Based on this unique technology, Ghostpass is introducing a variety of solutions utilizing only smartphone biometric information, encompassing access authentication, simple payments, and efficient time and attendance management. It is widely applied in various everyday spaces and the financial sector, including smart door locks, speed gates, unmanned POS systems, and table order systems, offering overwhelming cost-saving effects and flexible system scalability compared to existing server-based methods. This selection for the 'Super Gap Startup 1000+' project will serve as a powerful stepping stone for Ghostpass's global leap. In addition to business commercialization funds totaling 600 million KRW over the next three years, it will receive comprehensive support encompassing technology advancement, strategic collaboration with large enterprises, and entry into global markets. Through this, the company plans to further enhance its product competitiveness and solidify Ghostpass's position in the rapidly changing global cybersecurity market. Furthermore, Ghostpass was recently selected for the 'Finnect Innovation School' and is preparing an innovative cooperation program with KakaoBank, aiming to further expand its influence in the fintech security sector.
