AERO Tech leader AIDRO achieved remarkable results in 2024, solidifying its position in the global market. In 2024, sales surged by 93% year-on-year to 11 billion Korean Won, and operating profit set an astonishing record with a whopping 196% growth.
AIDRO's growth is prominent in the global market. 86% of total revenue came from overseas, with the U.S. market, in particular, accounting for 60% of international sales, acting as a key growth driver. The company recorded an explosive 147% year-on-year growth rate in four major countries, including the U.S., Australia, and South Korea, driving global sales. The Netherlands, Thailand, Japan, and Taiwan also supported sales growth.
To strengthen its global presence, AIDRO is actively pursuing expansion. Having signed a master distributorship agreement with Japan in January, AIDRO is accelerating its global network expansion by finalizing master distributorship agreements with Malaysia/Singapore, the UK, and Thailand within the first quarter of this year. Furthermore, the company plans to open an offline showroom, the ‘AERO Experience Center,’ in the U.S. later this year, encompassing vehicle displays, community space, product sales, and a logistics warehouse. In Germany, AIDRO will establish a subsidiary for collaboration with local finished vehicle manufacturers and TUV certification, accelerating its push into the European market.
AIDRO has achieved success in various fields with its unique aerodynamic technology. The company participated in the development of the Hyundai Avante N Cup race car, and garnered attention when Formula 1 Red Bull driver Liam Lawson equipped AIDRO's aero kit. AIDRO successfully entered the high-end vehicle market by launching an aero kit for the Porsche GT3 992. Its technological capabilities have been recognized through joint research with KAIST and the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in Greece.
Based on these growth drivers, AIDRO secured 5.4 billion Korean Won in Series A investment from seven investors, including K2 Investment Partners and Stonebridge Ventures, and was also selected for the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund's promising startup guarantee program, 'First Penguin'. The company solidified its status as an export enterprise by receiving the '3 Million Dollar Export Tower' award at the 61st Trade Day ceremony.
AIDRO, which optimizes vehicle aerodynamic efficiency by combining software and hardware, garnered significant attention overseas and within the BMW community by launching the world's first BMW G82 M4 facelift bumper in November 2022. Currently, the company exports products to 22 countries, with 86% of its total revenue generated from overseas sales. Ultimately, AIDRO aims to lead innovation in the future mobility market by moving beyond major components like body kits and bumpers to develop and produce its own complete vehicles.
