An innovative movement responsible for the clean air of future cities has been spotted. Deepvisions, a company specializing in AI solutions based on video information, is drawing attention as it proudly secured a spot in the growth startup track of the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute (KEITI)'s ambitious ‘2025 Eco-Startup Support Program’. The task Deepvisions will undertake is ‘Establishing a Real-time Fine Dust Map Service using Video Information and Deep Learning’. This project, valued at approximately 350 million KRW, is anticipated to be a key project that will change the paradigm of existing fine dust measurement. Until now, Deepvisions has been equipped with its own patented technology, developing an AI solution that precisely measures fine dust solely through video data analysis. This government support will be a significant turning point, allowing their innovative technology to expand into broader service areas and fully open the door to commercialization. Kang Bong-soo, CEO of Deepvisions, expressed his ambition, stating, "We will develop it into the ultimate solution that precisely visualizes the air quality of an entire city, going beyond the limitations of existing sensors." He emphasized that its potential is already recognized on the global stage, with opportunities for Proof of Concept (PoC) projects being discussed in major cities worldwide, including London, New York, and Paris. KEITI's Eco-Startup Support Program, under the Ministry of Environment, is part of a national effort to discover and foster promising startups based on eco-friendly technology. Deepvisions' selection is proof that their excellent technological prowess and unique growth potential have been officially recognized. Beyond solving fine dust issues, Deepvisions is boldly expanding its business areas by introducing innovative solutions that combine vision technology and AI in various fields such as pest detection and construction safety systems. Deepvisions' challenge for a clean and safe future has just begun.
