DayOne Company has achieved a remarkable feat, setting a new milestone in the adult education content industry by simultaneously receiving the '10 Million Dollar Export Tower' and the 'Service Tower' at the '62nd Trade Day' commemoration ceremony. This achievement is particularly significant because, at a prestigious event that annually awards companies contributing to export growth and overseas market development, DayOne Company not only achieved over $10 million in annual export performance but also simultaneously secured an honor given only to the top 3 companies among all applicants in the service export sector. Notably, this marks the first simultaneous award record in the adult education sector, proving unequivocally that DayOne Company has secured unparalleled competitiveness in the global market with its edutech model, which combines self-produced educational content and an innovative platform.
This achievement is also supported by robust performance growth. DayOne Company recorded 33.7 billion KRW in sales and 3.4 billion KRW in operating profit in the third quarter of this year, setting a new record for the highest quarterly operating profit. In particular, the global business segment showed an astonishing growth rate of 64% compared to the same period last year, proving its explosive potential in overseas markets. It is also noteworthy that the company is aggressively expanding its overseas business territory, successfully entering five new countries this year – Spain, the UK, France, Canada, and China – beyond its existing markets of Japan, the US, and Taiwan.
Kim Dong-hyuk, Head of Coloso and Global Business at DayOne Company, stated, "We have confirmed that our content is widely accepted in various cultural spheres, including the Americas and Europe," and added, "Next year, we plan to further accelerate global expansion through strengthening strategic partnerships and diversifying service languages." Lee Kang-min, CEO of DayOne Company, also conveyed his ambition, saying, "This award will be an important opportunity to promote the status of Korean educational content to the world," and that the company plans to advance its educational solutions by integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and lead innovation in the global adult education market. DayOne Company is expected to leverage this award as a stepping stone to write new history as a vanguard of K-edutech on the stage of the global adult education market.
