Crit Ventures USA Makes Strategic Investment in AI Art Platform 'Artue'
On November 10, 2025, Crite Ventures USA made a strategic investment in HabitUs Associates, which operates the AI-based art platform 'Artue,' becoming the company's second-largest shareholder. This investment is a result of recognizing Artue's unique technological capabilities and growth potential, a platform that launched in 2023 with the goal of becoming the 'operating system (OS)' for the art market in the AI era. Artue boasts an innovative system that precisely analyzes users' aesthetic preferences and recommends artworks through conversational, multimodal, and emotion-based AI search. It currently holds over 540 artists and more than 4,000 artworks, and has achieved remarkable growth over the past year, with a 15% increase in artist participation and a 20% increase in its artwork catalog, rapidly expanding its global influence. Notably, it has demonstrated technological leadership by filing the world's first patent for an AI-based art recommendation and discovery system and being featured as a key case study at the OpenAI Korea launch event. The platform utilizes blockchain technology to enhance copyright protection, counterfeit verification, and digital ownership management, thereby building a trustworthy global art trading infrastructure. Furthermore, it is pursuing the issuance of security token offerings (STOs) for physical artworks and the establishment of global art investment funds, and has formed a technical alliance with CONX (XPLA), an STO blockchain platform in which Com2uS Holdings participates, accelerating the development of a next-generation art-tech financial infrastructure that integrates AI, blockchain, and digital assets. Crite Ventures USA highly praised Artue as "a prime example that leads the digital transformation of the art industry and rapidly integrates cutting-edge AI technology into the creative economy." Song Bo-young, CEO of HabitUs Associates, stated her ambition: "In an era where AI redefines the art experience, we will build a global standard user experience (UX) for the technology-driven art market with Crite Ventures USA, and set new standards for a digital art ecosystem where AI and art coexist." Crite Ventures USA, which recently opened an office in Palo Alto following Los Angeles and is focusing on expanding into the North American market, is actively supporting Korean startups in their entry into North America and expansion of global networks. This investment is expected to be a significant turning point that will transform the landscape of the future art market through the convergence of art and technology.
