Connecting the Dots, 1000+ Leading Startups Join Micro DIPS!
Connecting the Dots has been selected for the 'Micro DIPS' program within the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' 'Super Gap Startup 1000+ Project', laying the groundwork for the global leap of 'K-Care' technology, which encompasses the entire life cycle beyond infant and child care. Micro DIPS is a program that identifies and supports AI and deep tech startups with high technological competitiveness and growth potential at an early stage. Through this selection, Connecting the Dots will receive diverse support, including commercialization funds, technology advancement, market channel securing, and preparation for global expansion, and based on this, it plans to enhance its global competitiveness across all sectors of care, education, and senior services by further developing its 'Care Intelligence' technology, currently applied to its infant and child care service 'Ticktock Croc'. Connecting the Dots' core technology, 'Care Intelligence,' is an AI system built upon actual user data from children. Utilizing large-scale, long-term accumulated data from infant and child care settings, it systematically collects and standardizes various interactions and vocalizations from care environments by structuring and quantifying them. In particular, it has achieved differentiation from general language models by applying domain-specific NLP (Natural Language Processing) custom technology optimized for the vocalizations and context of infants and young children. Through real-time feedback and a 'Human-in-the-loop' approach, it continuously enhances the model's accuracy and reliability, striving for technological completeness. The company plans to preemptively secure AI models that reflect the specific characteristics of Korean children's and seniors' vocalizations, then expand them into multi-language environments to accelerate entry into global K-Care markets such as Vietnam, Japan, and English-speaking regions. In the senior care sector, it will introduce innovative AI solutions that respond to key care demands of an aging society by providing conversation-based cognitive analysis and personalized cognitive intervention content recommendations at the pre-stage of cognitive decline and dementia prevention. CEO Kim Hee-jung emphasized that through this Micro DIPS selection, Connecting the Dots has overcome the structural limitations of the care industry and gained recognition for the global scalability of K-Care technology, which covers the entire life cycle from children to seniors. Furthermore, she expressed her ambition to take the lead in building an AI care model that incorporates technological standardization and ethical responsibility, aligning with the era of major AI transformation.
