Caring, a company specializing in senior care, has established itself as an excellent corporate contributor to the local community, having been recognized for its contributions to the development of social services in Gwangju Metropolitan City and receiving a commendation from the Chairman of the Gwangju Metropolitan City Council.
This commendation was awarded to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the Gwangju Metropolitan City Social Service Agency, with its significant contribution to improving the quality of social services and creating high-quality jobs within the region being highly praised. The Gwangju Metropolitan City Social Service Agency focuses on strengthening the public nature and professionalism of social services and providing citizen-tailored welfare services.
Caring has built a nationwide integrated home care infrastructure, contributing to employment stability by creating over 10,000 professional care jobs, including caregivers, social workers, and occupational therapists. Furthermore, it has consistently taken the lead in activities to improve the working conditions and promote the rights and interests of caregivers.
In particular, the 3rd-generation premium day care centers operated in locations such as Gwangju Nam-gu and Seo-gu branches provide innovative services focused on the daily health management and relaxation of seniors, including beauty and spa services, and smart cognitive and rehabilitation programs. Additionally, through the 'Caring Hospital Escort Relief Partner' service, where care professionals assist with hospital accompaniment, it provides practical convenience to both users and guardians, enhancing satisfaction.
Furthermore, through close collaboration with local medical institutions, it has successfully established a 'medical and care one-stop system' that includes non-face-to-face and home visit medical care, greatly increasing seniors' access to medical care and playing a key role in resolving care gaps. As of July, Caring operates a total of 61 directly managed branches nationwide, including day care centers, home care centers, and caregiver training centers, thereby setting the standard for senior care in South Korea.
Kim Tae-sung, CEO of Caring, stated, "This award is a proud achievement accomplished together with the numerous care workers who silently dedicate themselves in the field. We will continue to invest in improving the quality of care services and do our best to ensure seniors can confidently enjoy the highest level of care anywhere in the country."
Meanwhile, last year, Caring was also recognized for its employment performance in the Gwangju region and received a commendation from the Mayor of Gwangju as an 'Enterprise of Merit in Job Creation.' In the same year, it received the Minister of Health and Welfare Award in the Corporate Social Responsibility Management category at the '2024 National Empathy Campaign' organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, steadily receiving recognition for its social contributions.
