Now, Vietnamese Korean language learners can experience the long-dreamed-of practical Korean language immersion! BookiPeace, which operates the educational content platform Solbook, is officially launching an innovative practical Korean language experience program, 'Chingu EduTour'.
This program goes beyond a simple language study abroad. It's an immersive language learning model where Vietnamese learners visiting Korea are paired with actual Korean university 'friends' to naturally learn Korean and exchange culture in daily life outside the classroom. Its biggest feature is that, breaking away from tourism or standardized teaching methods, it helps learners actively utilize Korean in real life by continuing 'speaking'-centric exchange activities through a friend-matching system.
Through this, BookiPeace expects young people from both countries to not only improve their language skills but also cultivate global leadership and build lasting human networks, growing into talents who will lead future industrial and cultural cooperation between Korea and Vietnam.
Chingu EduTour's first launch will be with students from Hanoi University of Foreign Studies (ULIS), a leading Korean language education institution in Vietnam. Korean university student partners participating in the program will receive preliminary education on Vietnamese culture, and then engage in meaningful exchanges through team projects and mission execution. Even after the program concludes, it plans to support students in continuing their exchanges through an alumni community, helping them grow into talents who will serve as bridges between the two countries.
This special program has been selected as part of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Korea Tourism Organization's '2025 Tourism Global Challenge Program,' and is being conducted with acceleration from CNTTech, an investment-specialized accelerator, in Vietnam.
Yoon Mi-sun, CEO of BookiPeace, stated her aspirations, saying, "We prepared this program reflecting the strong local need for speaking-centric learning in conjunction with the Korean Language Proficiency Test (TOPIK)," and added, "It will satisfy the learning desires of local Vietnamese students and provide an experience where they can communicate with local friends and truly master Korean in real situations."
Chingu EduTour will be a stepping stone for sustainable friendship and growth for Korean and Vietnamese youth, going beyond simple Korean language education.
