The Future of Fashion Blossoms with Data at DDP: The Innovative Encounter of Buckle and SBA
The growth of fashion brands is now being transformed by data! 'Buckle,' a fashion tech platform operated by Mass Adoption, is writing a new chapter in history at the heart of K-fashion, Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), through an innovative collaboration with the Seoul Business Agency (SBA).
This project is central to the '2025 DDP Showroom Fashion Tech Company PoC Support' initiative, which goes beyond simple offline expansion to enable data-driven smart growth. Through this support project, Buckle will assist the growth of participating brands and demonstrate the practical value of fashion tech.
DDP, a global landmark visited by 15 million domestic and international buyers and visitors annually. The 150-pyeong multi-shop space on the first floor of its showroom is now transforming beyond a mere sales area into a strategic hub that creates 'data assets' for fashion brands. Buckle's advanced technology systematically collects and analyzes all visitor behavior data, showcasing the magic of converting offline customer experiences directly into core data for brand growth.
This DDP showroom project combines Buckle's proprietary technology, which links pre/during/post-promotions for offline pop-up operations, with the powerful branding synergy of the DDP showroom. Brands will receive AI-powered detailed performance analysis reports based on integrated visitor data, enabling them to establish their next strategies clearly and data-drivenly.
Buckle has already proven the validity of its offline digital transformation model by measuring key indicators such as monthly performance analysis, on-site experience rates, and membership conversion rates through successful offline collaborations with global brands like Lululemon, Hunter, and Ader Error.
Park Chan-woo, CEO of Mass Adoption, emphasized, "The powerful brand strength of DDP combined with Buckle's technology will create a sustainable offline growth model that goes beyond simple pop-ups," adding, "This opportunity to introduce Korean fashion brands and technology to domestic and international buyers visiting the DDP showroom will lead to momentum for global expansion."
This project, aimed at fashion brands pursuing offline expansion and data-driven growth, plans to demonstrate customer experience in the symbolic space of DDP through SBA's operational support and Buckle's technology, thereby helping brands gain a clear vision for channel expansion. The future of fashion, Buckle and DDP are drawing it together.
