## Bank Salad Leads Financial Innovation for Small Business Owners: Building a New MyData-Based Credit Assessment Model
Bank Salad, a MyData specialized company, has laid a crucial foundation to break down financial barriers for small business owners and open up new opportunities. Proudly joining Korea Credit Data and Decipherlo in the '2025 MyData Comprehensive Foundation Building Project,' hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Data Agency, Bank Salad plans to present innovative solutions for small business owners, a financially vulnerable group.
Up until now, small business owners have found it difficult to properly reflect important data generated from their businesses, such as sales performance or commercial area characteristics, in credit evaluations. As personal and business financial data were separated, their full potential was not recognized, and they faced significant restrictions in using financial services like loans. These structural limitations resulted in many small business owners procuring funds under unfavorable conditions or being completely deprived of financial opportunities themselves.
To solve these long-standing challenges, Bank Salad is introducing a next-generation credit evaluation model for small business owners, based on homomorphic encryption technology. By securely combining the vast personal financial data accumulated through credit score and loan management services with business data, it comprehensively reflects industry-specific characteristics, scale, sales patterns, and commercial area analysis. This will enable a multi-faceted evaluation of the business's growth potential and stability, and by integrating and analyzing the business owner's financial MyData, including loans, insurance, and cards, it will make more sophisticated and practical credit evaluations possible.
Ultimately, Bank Salad plans to support small business owners in securely and effectively utilizing their data to receive recommendations for customized low-interest financial products and to significantly increase their loan eligibility. This holds significant meaning by expanding financial opportunities for individual small business owners and further strengthening the robust foundation of the economic ecosystem.
A Bank Salad official stated, "We will bring together the know-how and technology accumulated in the MyData industry so far to introduce a differentiated model that can provide practical help to small business owners," and expressed their aspiration, "We will do our best to ensure that small business owners, who are the backbone of the economy, can grow and develop without financial difficulties." Bank Salad's latest endeavor is expected to inject a new breath of fresh air into South Korea's financial ecosystem for small business owners.
