Argos Identity Partners with Sentbe to Strengthen AI-Based Identity Verification for Multinational Customers In line with the surging number of foreigners residing in Korea, the importance of identity verification is greater than ever. Through this collaboration, Sentbe will further strengthen its Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures for all customers sending money from Korea, utilizing various identification documents such as resident registration cards, driver's licenses, alien registration cards, and passports. Argos' 'ID check' service precisely detects ID forgery/alteration and face manipulation even in a non-face-to-face environment, utilizing AI technology. Furthermore, its advanced feature that automatically recognizes different ID formats by country allows for easy processing of identity verification for multinational customers. In particular, foreign customers in Korea will receive support for ID authentication via passports and alien registration cards, enabling them to use Sentbe's fast and affordable overseas remittance service with greater peace of mind. The introduction of this service will complement the limitations of existing government data-based authenticity verification, preemptively block various financial crimes such as false account creation, identity theft, and money laundering, and thereby contribute to further enhancing customer trust.
