Nota, a leader in AI lightweighting and optimization technology, has crossed a significant threshold towards its KOSDAQ listing. Having passed the preliminary review by the Korea Exchange in approximately two months, the company is now embarking on the full-scale public offering process with a target IPO in the second half of 2025. Mirae Asset Securities will be the lead underwriter for the listing.
Even amid significantly strengthened KOSDAQ technology special listing review criteria this year, Nota's swift approval is seen as an acknowledgment of both its technological prowess and business viability. Already in December last year, by securing the highest 'A·A' rating in its technology assessment, it had demonstrated its solid fundamentals.
Nota's core competency lies in its self-developed AI model lightweighting and optimization platform, 'NetsPresso®'. This platform provides solutions for developing and deploying AI models optimized for edge device environments, and through collaborations with global semiconductor and AI leaders such as NVIDIA, Samsung Electronics, Arm, and Qualcomm, it has proven its technological capability and commercialization potential.
Recently, Nota has been expanding its growth engines by introducing 'Nota Vision Agent (NVA)', an intelligent video analysis solution incorporating Vision Language Models (VLM). It is actively pursuing domestic and international demonstration projects in various fields such as industrial safety and intelligent transportation systems (ITS). Notably, in April, by supplying a generative AI solution to the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in the UAE, it achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the first Korean company to successfully enter the Middle Eastern government agency market.
CEO Myung-su Chae stated that this preliminary review approval is not merely an acknowledgment of its technology, but a comprehensive recognition of its commercialization achievements and robust global business foundation. He expressed ambitions to grow into a company that leads global technical standards in the AI optimization sector.
Currently operating local subsidiaries in Berlin, Germany, and Sunnyvale, USA, and expanding its business into regions such as the Middle East, Japan, and Southeast Asia, Nota has recorded approximately a tenfold revenue growth over the past five years. For 2025, it projects high growth of over 70% compared to the previous year. Funds secured through the listing will be primarily invested in technological advancement and global market expansion. Nota's next moves are eagerly anticipated.
