"Speak with results, not technology." Patent vertical AI company WertIntelligence's 'WERT TECH Summit 25', held on the 17th, captivated 1,500 attendees with this clear message. This summit served as proof that AI and data are core assets that dictate companies' strategic decision-making, extending beyond mere technical departments.
In his keynote, WertIntelligence CEO Yoon Jeong-ho emphasized that the strategic utilization of industry-specific vertical AI and IP data has become an essential factor for corporate survival and securing competitiveness. Following this, big tech companies and industry leaders from both Korea and abroad, including Kakao, AWS, Qualcomm, and Hyundai Motor Company, shared specific examples of how they created business impact through AI in real-world scenarios. Kakao presented an AI transformation strategy that assetizes internal knowledge data, while AWS unveiled achievements in reducing lead times and improving productivity through connecting organization, data, and tasks. Qualcomm introduced methods for utilizing domain-specific vertical AI as a strategic weapon, and Hyundai Motor Company shared its experience of combining IP data and AI to build future technology portfolios and enhance decision-making for investment and new business ventures, receiving an enthusiastic response from attendees.
The summit's most significant characteristic was its case-study-centered session structure, which focused on 'post-implementation results' rather than technical specifications. It garnered empathy by vividly conveying the real business impact brought by technology adoption, such as organizational changes, improvements in strategic decision-making structures, and investment attraction.
At the WertIntelligence booth within the venue, self-developed LLM-based services attracted significant attention. Particularly, 'Keywert's AI search function, which allows patent exploration using natural language without complex search queries, and 'NovAI's analysis function, which automatically classifies, summarizes, and visualizes patent data, demonstrated the potential for companies to utilize technical data efficiently.
WertIntelligence plans to operate regular tech conferences, starting with this summit, encompassing industry-specific customized tracks and partner collaborations. CEO Yoon Jeong-ho expressed his ambition, stating, "Through the activation of technical data, we will bridge the information gap between companies and contribute to helping more companies secure global competitiveness through creative decision-making."
