AdPopcorn, IGAWorks' core ad monetization platform, has officially launched its innovative 'Reward Ad Plus' service in the Japanese market, marking its first step in global expansion. This November, AdPopcorn is set to deliver special value to local users through a strategic partnership with PayPay, Japan's leading QR code payment service. This service allows users to watch in-game advertisements and receive rewards, including not only game items but also PayPay points, which can be used like cash at convenience stores and online shopping malls. Its effectiveness has already been proven in the domestic market through integration with Naver Pay points. According to AdPopcorn, since the service's introduction, ad participation rates have nearly doubled, and the loyal user base consistently engaging with the service has expanded by over 40%, demonstrating remarkable achievements. Starting with the launch in Japan, AdPopcorn will introduce a Taiwan version in December to strengthen its presence in the Asian market and is pursuing an aggressive global roadmap to expand its services to the North American market. The reward model will be localized to suit the characteristics of each country, and the provision of PayPay points will be limited to the Japanese market. Kim Heung-taek, CEO of AdPopcorn, stated, "The collaboration with PayPay is an attempt to open new horizons for rewarded advertising," adding a strong aspiration to "create tangible results in the global market." AdPopcorn is a mobile ad monetization platform with a vast user base of over 24.6 million daily users, leveraging the advanced AI data analysis capabilities of its parent company, IGAWorks, to achieve both maximized ad effectiveness and enhanced user experience. Through this entry into the Japanese market, AdPopcorn is expected to further expand its influence in the global mobile advertising market.
