Ulsan Center Organizes Site Visits for Young Entrepreneurs to Expand into Greater Seoul Market
The Ulsan Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (UCCEI) announced that it successfully concluded the '2025 U-RISE Startup Campus Startup Field Touring 2nd' from the 9th to the 11th in the Seoul metropolitan area, supporting the dreams of local young entrepreneurs. This 2-night, 3-day journey was part of the '2025 U-RISE Startup Campus Support Program' and was an advanced program following the 1st tour held last October. It focused on helping young people from the Ulsan region directly experience the dynamic startup infrastructure of the Seoul metropolitan area, personally feel the latest trends in the global market, and strengthen their practical execution capabilities. Approximately 30 participants, including students from startup clubs at Ulsan University and Ulsan College, as well as promising prospective and early-stage entrepreneurs from the region, participated in this tour, demonstrating great enthusiasm. Participants visited key startup support institutions in Seoul, such as the Global Marketing Center and the Gangnam Job & Startup Hub Center, meticulously examining their practical support systems. In particular, they had the opportunity to directly observe 'COMEUP 2025,' the largest global startup festival in Korea, and 'Challenge! K-Startup 2025 King of Kings,' where innovative ideas clash, vividly encountering the latest technology trends and the growth stories of successful startups. Through this, they gained profound inspiration on how to concretize and develop their visions within the rapidly changing startup ecosystem. On the final day, the 11th, they further expanded their insights into future markets through a special lecture on trends by an expert instructor. An official from the Ulsan Center emphasized that this program "must have been a valuable opportunity for local young entrepreneurs to broaden their perspectives by directly experiencing the rich infrastructure and rapidly changing trends of the metropolitan area," and expressed their ambition to "continue providing practical, field-oriented educational programs like this to further vitalize the startup ecosystem in the Ulsan region." Meanwhile, the 'U-RISE Startup Campus Support Program' is operated based on close cooperation with the Ulsan RISE Center and local universities. By systematically supporting the entire startup cycle for university startup clubs, including prototype production support, expert mentoring, and investment linkage, it is effectively serving as a strong cradle for local youth entrepreneurship.
