Electric vehicle charging platform company Pluglink reported the largest increase in the number of registered slow chargers in the country last year.
Based on data from the Ministry of Environment's eco-friendly vehicle integrated website, Pluglink announced on the 6th that the number of registered slow chargers increased by 18,849 units compared to the previous year, ranking first among domestic operators for the year 2025. Accordingly, Pluglink's cumulative number of registered slow chargers is recorded at 33,705 units as of the end of 2025.
The company stated that it has secured a cumulative order volume of about 55,000 units to date, and plans to gradually expand its charging infrastructure based on this. Pluglink is focusing on building charging infrastructure primarily in multi-unit housing such as apartments and officetels.
In particular, since acquiring Hanwha Solutions' electric vehicle charging division in May 2025, it has integrated existing charging assets and applied a single-platform operational system. Through this, it operates a management system that analyzes and monitors charging status and power usage data using AI technology.
Kang In-cheol, CEO of Pluglink, said, "Last year was a time to strengthen operational capabilities alongside the expansion of charger installation scale," adding, "We will focus on building the secured order volume without any disruptions and providing stable charging services."
