Neureslab Wins $3M Export Award with Defense Drones, Targets Global Market
Innovative drone AI technology company Nearthlab was awarded the '3 Million Dollar Export Tower' at the '62nd Trade Day' ceremony hosted by the Korea International Trade Association, marking a record for two consecutive years. This is attributed to the consistent export growth of its existing flagship wind turbine inspection solution, coupled with a successful strategy of expanding its civilian autonomous flight technology into the defense sector. Its performance on the global stage is also remarkable. Nearthlab clinched the 'CES 2025 Best of Innovation Award' and the prestigious 'Edison Awards' this year, and notably made it onto Defense Post's list of 'Top 100 Global Defense Drone Companies,' as selected by the overseas military specialized media outlet. In particular, with the full-scale export of defense drones, primarily to countries in the Middle East and Southeast Asia, Nearthlab is further solidifying its presence in the global market. In recognition of these achievements and innovation, Nearthlab was proudly selected as an 'Excellent Drone Operator,' a new designation introduced by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport this year. Being selected as an excellent operator brings added advantages in drone commercialization and overseas expansion support programs, as well as simplified administrative procedures like flight approvals and exemption benefits, thus giving wings to its business expansion. Choi Jae-hyuk, CEO of Nearthlab, emphasized that this award proves their autonomous flight AI technology is fully viable not only for wind turbine inspection but also in the global defense market. He also stated that Nearthlab would make every effort to expand exports by actively utilizing the administrative support from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
