NearsLab Secures 'AA' Tech Rating, Targets 2026 KOSDAQ Listing
Nearthlab, a leader in the drone artificial intelligence (AI) sector, has brilliantly passed the technology evaluation, a core gateway for KOSDAQ technology special listing, signalling a green light for its listing journey. Nearthlab received the highest possible rating of 'A' from both eCredible and Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KOTEC), the nation's most authoritative evaluation agencies, perfectly fulfilling the preliminary listing review application requirements of at least an A grade and a BBB grade or higher. This signifies objective recognition of Nearthlab's innovative technology and growth potential. The core of this evaluation was Nearthlab's independently developed 'Physical AI' technology based on 'Aerial Intelligence'. This innovative technology, which autonomously performs complex missions without pilot intervention, was recognized for its high level of completeness and business viability. Nearthlab, having already proven its capabilities in industrial settings such as wind turbine blade inspection, is recently garnering attention by successfully expanding its business into the defense industry. Through advanced defense drones like the high-speed interceptor drone 'KAiDEN' and the swarm suicide drone 'XAiDEN', it is providing essential solutions for future battlefield environments. Remarkable achievements in the global market also positively influenced the evaluation. Nearthlab is actively pursuing entry into the North American market through a strategic alliance with U.S. drone company Red Cat Holdings, and is already supplying high-performance defense drones to the Middle East and Southeast Asia, elevating the status of K-defense drones. Notably, KAiDEN's outstanding strike performance was officially verified in a recent live-fire test led by U.S. defense company L3Harris, securing international trust in its technology. Choi Jae-hyeok, CEO of Nearthlab, stated, "This evaluation result clearly demonstrates the direction our Physical AI technology should take and its overwhelming competitiveness," and expressed his aspiration to "leap forward as a global autonomous flight solutions company encompassing the defense sector, building upon our unparalleled achievements in the wind power market, and successfully complete our KOSDAQ listing in 2026." Nearthlab's actions are expected to open new horizons in the domestic drone AI industry and further elevate the status of K-technology in the global market.
