## Korea Proptech Forum Confirms Re-election of Chairman Bae Seok-hoon... Preparing to Leap Forward with '4th-Term Leadership'
The Korea Proptech Forum, which will lead the future of the Korean proptech industry, confirmed the re-election of current Chairman Bae Seok-hoon at its 2025 General Assembly held on the 20th, solidifying its new 4th-term leadership system. With this, Chairman Bae, who successfully led the 3rd-term forum for the past two years following the inaugural Chairman Ahn Sung-woo (CEO of Zigbang), will once again take on the important role of leading the forum for the next two years until April 2027.
Chairman Bae Seok-hoon, during his previous term, is evaluated to have demonstrated excellent leadership by stably guiding the forum despite the prolonged downturn in the proptech industry. In particular, through active cooperation with the government and local authorities, he expanded the scope of proptech policy activities and contributed to the fulfillment of social responsibilities such as preventing 'jeonse' scams and resolving housing issues for youth and seniors. Furthermore, by revitalizing education academy programs, he has also strived to cultivate talent in the industry.
Chairman Bae, whose re-election has been confirmed, put forth 'expansion of global exchange,' 'enhancement of policy activity effectiveness,' and 'strengthening the substantial growth of member companies' as the core values for the upcoming 4th-term forum operations. In the first half of this year, the forum plans to seek concrete exchange and cooperation measures with the Japan Proptech Association, and expand active networking opportunities among member companies through events like Pitching Day and Media Day. Furthermore, by forming a proptech policy research group, it plans to further enhance its responsiveness to rapidly changing market environments and policy shifts.
To effectively realize the Chairman's vision and enhance the efficiency of its key projects, the forum has also newly established a system of four division representatives. Ahn Sung-woo, CEO of Zigbang, will lead the External Cooperation Division; Lee Yong-kyun, CEO of R.Square, the Industrial Cooperation Division; Lee Dong-jun, CEO of AtoStudy, the Operation Strategy Division; and Lee Tae-hyun, CEO of Homes Company, the International Exchange Division, each contributing to the promotion of the forum's major projects.
Chairman Bae Seok-hoon recalled, "Over the past two years, despite challenging market conditions, we were able to achieve valuable results with our member companies," and expressed a strong commitment, saying, "Going forward, we will continuously challenge ourselves and innovate for the sustainable development of the proptech industry and the growth of all member companies, including startups." With Chairman Bae's re-election, the Korea Proptech Forum is expected to lead the growth and innovation of the domestic proptech industry with even stronger leadership.
