I'mweb, which has evolved from a no-code web builder into a comprehensive platform encompassing commerce and marketing, will host its first tech meetup, 'WIP 2025: People Breaking Down Technology Barriers'. WIP, which stands for 'Work In Progress', symbolizes the continuous innovation journey of I'mweb's tech organization, while its subtitle represents the core mission of enabling anyone to easily utilize complex technology. The event, which will be broadcast live on YouTube for approximately three hours starting at 7 PM on March 13th, is an opportunity to transparently share I'mweb's honest tech growth story. I'mweb's tech organization, which has expanded more than fourfold in the last three years, will vividly recount the technical challenges it faced while operating a large-scale SaaS platform serving 900,000 brand customers, 100 million monthly visitors, and an annual transaction volume of 1 trillion won, along with the solutions developed. In particular, practical know-how and deep insights gained from actual service operation, such as overcoming technical debt and resolving scalability issues, will be shared. Starting with CTO Kim Hyung-seop's opening session, 'Introduction to I'mweb's Tech Organization: Start Your Code Now', eight presentations will follow, covering front-end, back-end, infrastructure, data, and mobile app fields, including topics such as micro-frontend migration, building a data platform from scratch, sending 1 million data records in a memory-constrained environment, and DDoS defense case studies. CTO Kim Hyung-seop emphasized the significance of this meetup, stating, "We hope the vivid experiences of I'mweb developers, who have grown by solving large-scale traffic and complex business requirements, will serve as a great inspiration to the tech community." Don't miss out on the practical know-how embedded in I'mweb's challenges and growth.
